I didn't watch the game but I have seen the 2nd Bojan goal about 10 times already. That finish was about as perfect as it could possibly be. Bojan's chip deflected the ball to the perfect degree to get the requisite pace, power and height. With the sort of position with respect to the defenders he had he could have also stopped and side-footed it around the keeper or threaded it through his legs although the first time chip was the best option. his initial movement was brilliant.

I think Bojan is technically one of the most gifted players I have ever seen. People have a tendency to call players who do a number of stepovers as technically gifted which i think is silly. Watch Bojan closely and his feet always seem to be in the perfect position with respect to the ball when he receives a pass, moves with the ball or takes a shot. He is perfectly balanced with the ball at his feet. Yeah, he is no Messi, cant change direction or move in the same manner with the ball stuck to his feet, rather he is like the front bench student in the coaching class. Jotted his notes , traps the ball precisely as instructed, on a through ball moves precisely in the most advantageous direction.
All the kid needs to do now is build some strength both physical and with regard to his character. That will of course come with time but he has to be handled carefully.

lol, Puyol has the habit of jumping on ppl while celebrating a goal. He tried it after the first goal n missed everyone. He d probably have fallen if Busquets hadn't caught him.

Kamikaze, in fact its Pi'que who has the tendacy to jump on others when celebrating a goal. He learned from M.Utd. Last night's Espanyol goals were cause mainly by Pi'que and Alves plus the 20 min or so of relaxation of the entire team. Bravo barca.

Anony you're right Alves didn't have a good game defensively. That and the fact that Sylvinho although good offensively is weak at defending is why Espanyol played us at the back. That's what worries me most if we get a good attacking left back next season. We would be playing more of a 5-3-2 formation and no defenders could cope with that.

in 5-3-2 i mean 2-3-5 (two defenders) sorry
