I also think our team is the most fair of all La Liga teams in terms of cards.

Saw statistics at XT today:

1. Barcelona 18 (least cards in liga)
2. Almeria 27
.
.
.
20. Real Madrid 37 (most cards in liga)

That's really, really impressive if you consider our strong pressing and the aggression with which our players defend atm.

The less ammount of cards is rather a result of the current Barca play-style i'd think.

With a high percentage of pocession and high pressure on the ball holder, leading to them often giving the ball away in some quick pass, simply resulting in less time where the Barca-players would normally obtain cards.

Just a small thought :)

True Stigsby, but still a credit to the team that even though we apply high pressure we still play fair, thats not easy to be accomplished.

No doubt, and with everything going Barca's way at the moment, we also avoid cards due to frustated players (Like many of those Real Madrid are getting at the moment).

But lots of credit to the team, they are doing a great job, both playwise and fairplay-wise :)

We have the least cards, most goals scored and least conceded also the most wins and the most points!

All in all making it our best start to the season ever!

PS Ramzi, it'd be great if you could do a round up of the daily headlines in EMD and Sport, just like the old days. ;)

I think Pique is doing a great job in defense and Marquez is realy on form...by the way, puyol is playing better than abidal in the lef back and the defense is stronger without abidal, he is too slow....

i dont think this is right. im pretty sure i remember messi scoring a header in one of the home games. not sure if it was CL or liga. but im pretty sure i remember it

from above, after doing some quick investigation, messi has scored 7 goals in the league, 6 on his left foot and one with his HEAD. sorry but the number of the day isnt correct.

i remember the goal quite clearly, was a cross in from the right side and messi jumped high and headed in.

Just immpressive. would have been interesting to know how many goals we conceeded last season, pretty much for sure but that number would have been interesting.
