this also allows pep to use keita as one of his CM, alongside xavi to give barca more of a presence in midfield and the danger of long shots. when we lose the ball keita can drop back and provide cover, meaning yaya can cover the right side for alves. then if teams continue to play this BS defensive football against us we can bring on iniesta to run at the tired legs of the defenders. i guess ideally i'd liked to see barca play a sort of 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-1-1-3. the only dangers are if keita doesnt work well at barca and iniesta getting annoyed about lack of playing time.
we will have to see what pep does but i would like to this especially in away games.; 10 September, 2008
Anonymous said...: I don't see a difference between home games and awy games, sjp: we always have to play against teams keeping ten men behind the ball. Also the home teams (who could be expected to wanting to show their fans something...), like Numancia last time.

I think Keita was bought in the first place to replace Deco and to bring some more midfield scoring and distance shots in the team.; 10 September, 2008
