Di Maria on the list but not a priority

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona is interested in Benfica left winger and Argentinian international Angel Di María (21) but that the player isn't a priority at this moment.

Although Barcelona tried to include a first option on Di María in the negotiations on the loan of Barcelona player Keirrison (read more here), the club wouldn't have the intention of executing the option immediately because signing a left winger isn't the main target for now. Benfica also wouldn't be willing to let the player leave this summer.

Guys, what is your opinion on this: Let's say that Ibrahimovic starts being a bitch, letting his ego drive him to the sky, doesn't want to run, doesn't want to pass, wants to do all by himself, etc.

Will Pep bench him, although Barca splashed 46m+Eto'o for him?

Because we don't have proper back-up, he won't. I mean, which forward line will you put on without Zlatan?

Messi-Bojan-Henry?

Messi-Bojan-Iniesta?

Messi-Henry-Iniesta?

Not convincing and moving Iniesta to the wing means trouble in midfield. So Zlatan can be a bitch, he'll stay on. But I don't think there's a reason to believe right now he'll be acting bad. If he sees Messi, Xavi and Iniesta on training, he'll know his place: he's not the star anymore so no prima donna attitude anymore. Henry has also learnt his lesson.

Moving Iniesta to the wing does not mean trouble in midfield. Iniesta has played on the wing alot, and there were no trouble in midfield. If Ibra acts up, and Pep gets a "feeling", then Henry will be striker. Yaya as box-to-box, which Pep prefers.

@Anonymous ,
Good point about Di Maria not scoring a lot of goals (8 goals in two seasons) . I think we have enough goal scorers . If we sign him he could be utilized as making runs on the left flank rather than as a goalscorer. Real Madrid are desperate to spend 80+ M Euros on Ribery who averages about 7 SEVEN goals a season !!

77 goals nice rate :D

I meant to say Ribery averages 7 goals a season . What a bargain for 80 M Euros !!
