Valencia willing to listen to offers for Silva

Asked about the rumours linking Valencia left winger and Spanish international David Silva (23) with several European clubs among which Barcelona (read more here), Valencia sports vice-president Fernando Gómez has suggested in an interview with Italian television channel Italia 1 that the club is ready to listen to offers for the player:

"A lof of important clubs are interested in him. There hasn't been any concrete offer yet and we don't plan to offer our top players to other clubs. The value of Silva is certainly not 18 million euro like has been said. 25 million euro? I cannot say anything about the money issue.

We don't put a price tag on our players, especially not on the star players. A football player is worth what others want to pay for him. We will wait and see which offers will come in. But we don't have a fixed asking price. His wish is to stay at Valencia but if he changes his mind and wants to leave, he will have to tell us where he would like to go."

greedy president,if he is to sell the biggest names its cause the club has financial problems,if the club has such problems you can get a good deal...or they can do what they did last year and fail for one more season.

i like silva,he is my 2nd choise after robinho, then ribery.many want ribery but after watching some bayern matches i doupt he will fit here that easily.
for me its robinho>>silva>>>>>>>>>ribery for left wing next year.(assuming henry leaves...)

also we have to look for a striker since eto will probably leave.this summer will be interesting.

why the hell do you want robinho?
robinho+eto in the same locker room = explosion of egos (not the waffles)

Guys, after watching some Barca Atletic games this season, i have concluded that, even though Gai has talent, and no doubt about it, he is not ready to be the first choice left winger yet. I think the best thing would be to keep Henry, and to promote Gai to share the LW. He just seems too small and weak at the moment to handle la liga full time. But then again... Messi looked small and weak...

here are 3 videos of silva...first one's song is pretty gay but quality footage all around.

he's the most logical choice...he's played w/xavi + iniesta in the national team, he knows the spanish league, and he can play anywhere across the front line. even if he didn't score that many goals, how many more would eto'o score if he were on the team? he's left footed and would open up the pitch if he played on the flank and that would create that much more space for iniesta & xavi to score/create too.

Gai is a right footed LW

...robinho?...i feel reassured that barca ain't foolish enough to bring this babyboy...sometimes he shows good technic, but most times he's kissing the ground, because of his weakness and diving-skills...at madrid he was only little bad,but at manchester city he's a zero...robinho?...stop clowning...city's 40 million trap...
