Anonymous said...: I think Touré was the best player. The pass to Henrys first goal was brilliant and he stopped everything in the midfield and also distributed ball well. 2nd for me was Henry with Alves as 3rd.

Overall a great match from everyone. I was very impressed with the way Valdes handled Villa when he was 1 on 1. Valdes is way, way better then Casillas right now.; 07 December, 2008

Sure he was there for the goals and finished well, but the other two had far more of an impact on the game. Alves was superb in defense and attack, back to his best.

After the window closed this summer, I was worried. I felt that there where to many below par players, like Abidal, Pique, Toure, Keita, eidur, Pedro, Hleb and Henry.
Some of these, mainly Pique and Keita have put my worries to shame. However for the superiority with which the team has played so far, most credit must go to Guardiola.

my vote goes to henry,and it goes to henry not only for his hat trick but because he was a big threat this time,also his sprint in the first goal reminded some moves of his young days,i hope he can help the team the rest of the season like that,that is what i expect from him,thats what most barca's fans expect from him and thats why everyone was chanting his name in the stadium.also his performance yesterday will make eto and most forwards to work more,(well all except messi ,everyone knows that when messi is available he will play hehe); 07 December, 2008

But I remeber the day Eto scored 4 goals, he was most peoples MOM cos "4 goals cantbe overlooked" now 3 goals dont mean much to us. I hear Alves and Giardiola alot now simply cos messi didnt beat the whole valencia team 10times in 90mins. If he did, it would have been Messi and Guardiola wouldnt have come to your minds at all. I think the answer is simple.."anything but Henry" When hes no longer there, then you would all see his usefulness. Thats the same way you all came here in the summer to chat s**t about Eto. and the whole comparision thing is realy stupid!! who realy cares if eto'o or henry is better?? they are both ours so we should shut our mouths and enjoy BARCA.. if one of the leaves then i gues that that one will be the worst of them!! :) kiding!! if that day comes then we will talk about it!! even thou i thing that will be stupid too!! one has left!! so there will be no reason to compare.. any way.. henry is performing just fine for his role and that is the bottom line!!

He deserves it totally...but dang it must be really difficult for Barca midfielders and defenders...
no matter what they do...Leo, Samu, or Heny always put in some ridiculous performances. I hope this is going to help Henry for the rest of the season!!!
