Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal has shown interest in Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic (17) during the negotiations between Barcelona and the English Premier League club on the transfers of Arsenal players Hleb and Adebayor.
When former Barcelona sports vice president Marc Ingla travelled to London to close the deal on Hleb and to try to persuade Arsenal to lower their asking price for Adebayor (read more here), Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger was present during the talks.
While opposing the exit of Adebayor, Wenger dropped the name of Bojan and asked for his contract situation and the possibility of the striker leaving Barcelona. Although Wenger insisted, Ingla didn't even want to enter the issue.
Barcelona is at this moment preparing a renewal offer for Bojan, which will be presented to the player as soon as he turns 18 at the end of August (read more here). The current contract of Bojan expires next summer.

ha, no way any team is going to snatch Bojan from us at this point.
He's already a fan favourite and well it would be suicide if Barça decided to cash in on him...
No way don't sell him he is probably the hottest prospect around already shown buckets of skill and goal scoring echnique it would be a real shame to see him sold.

I would hope Bojan doesn't have plans to leave Barcelona anytime soon. I hope as he matures and continues to progress he can become our version of Raul. It would be nice if he joined current "legends" like Puyol and Xavi - players who came up through the youth ranks and played exclusively for the club during their careers.

i can definately see him coming to arsenal, he is wasted at a club like barca who have too much politics & not enough respect for any of their players just look at Ronaldinho, barca are a disgrace
Ronaldinho has been a disgrace too over the last 18 months, nevertheless we respected his wishes and let him go with all honours.
