British tabloid The People states that Tottenham Hotspur will also push for the transfer of Sevilla midfielder Christian Poulsen (28). Tottenham manager Juande Ramos, the former Sevilla coach, would have made the Danish international one of his top summer targets. Because the relations between Sevilla and Tottenham are at a very low point since the transfer of Juande Ramos earlier this season, Sevilla would prefer to sit around the table with Barcelona.

I actually think Poulsen is more a guy for the premier league than for the liga. And they're probably more ready to spend.
