Madrid tabloid Marca claims today that Barcelona will have a seriously clean out of the squad if Barcelona wouldn't win a trophy this season. Besides manager Frank Rijkaard and the five players whose contracts expire (Edmilson, Thuram, Ezquerro, Sylvinho and Pinto), six other players would have to leave: Ronaldinho, Deco, Zambrotta, Giovani, Zambrotta and Oleguer.

If they can find (and pay) proper substitutes, I wouldn't mind many of those names to go in June. Maybe Giovani should have another chance though.
Shouldn't we keep Sylvinho? I think he's doing a good job as back up.
I really think Ronaldinho should go. He was great, we owe him so much, but this is getting painful.

in the article it's said that from the five players whose contract expires, he's the one with the biggest possbility to get a renewal since he's rarely disappointing on the field and a good guy off the field.
