Guardiola doping case reopened

British news agency Reuters reports that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola's acquittal over a 2001 drugs ban has been appealed by Italy's anti-doping prosecutor.

The Italian soccer federation said in May that Guardiola had won his appeal with its disciplinary body against a four-month ban for failing tests for nandrolone while playing for Brescia in 2001 (read more here). The country's Olympic Committee (CONI) has now explained in a statement on Friday that the anti-doping prosecutor had appealed against that decision with a hearing due on 15 September.

That Motherf..cker prosecutor realises that all the italian teams are a bag of shit with no chance of winning the champions so lets try and bring this grandma 8 year old case to see if it derails the Blaugrana.

Good Luck Punk but we are not gonna be affected by it all.

This has Real Madrid written all over it , this is exactly what happened in the old days in spain. spending exorbitant amounts of money on players, messing with transfers to get their way (i.e di stephano) Using political influence to cheat their way to titles. Real Madrid is a damn MOB not a football club. Pep was already acquitted. I can almost bet Real had something to do with bringing this controversy back up again.

THIS IS TOTAL BS. WISH FIFA WOULD JUST BAN REAL FROM EVERYTHING !!!

I really doN't think Madrid can instruct the Italian doping agency.

Appeal is possible, so they can do it. The rules should be followed. Let's see how things turn out in the end.
