Quote of the day: Ferguson

I don't envy Pellegrini picking his team. Barcelona are different because they have grown their squad properly and added one or two players each season. They have a fantastic midfield and they will be once again a threat to everyone taking part in the Champions League.

Sir Alex Ferguson,
Manchester United manager

Adding:

"There is a great example of a team that cannot buy success. It was called Sunderland and spent so much money that it was known as the Bank of England club. They didn't win anything and in the end they got themselves relegated.

I am not saying that Real Madrid will get relegated but they will have plenty of problems with balance. I do not know how Manuel Pellegrini plans to pick his side because it has no balance. I told Ronaldo before he flew out that he will end up playing centre-half because I don't think they have one."

I love Ferguson as well...

mainly because he is brutally honest and because he hates Madrid and uses every chance to diss them LOLOLOL

my absolute favorite

"Do you think I would enter into a contract with that mob?" he said. "No chance. I would not even sell them [Real Madrid] a virus, let alone help them out. That is a 'no' by the way. There is no agreement whatsoever between the clubs."

"Real blame anybody but themselves," Ferguson said. "I said to (chief executive) David Gill last summer when we sold Gabriel Heinze that he could bet his life this stuff will all start up around Ronaldo next year. It will happen again this year, want to bet?"

"We just have to ignore it. If we worry about what Real Madrid have to say we are not concentrating on our own publicity and the programme of difficult games we have got coming up."

"Sometimes they create a dumb situation and sometimes I get really annoyed with them. But we know their dirty game. I think we should play ours and ignore Real."

Could that be Iason again? I don't think so.

Anyway as I'm sure this prick will read this comment, here goes "Scared shit huh... Trying to drown the fear by convincing yourself otherwise... Ask this yourself, do you think Pelligrini will be able to find the right balance considering the players he got are not the ones he asked for but rather bought for Florentino's ego trip? I know SAF is right in that RM will go down the drain ala Sunderland with all their debt. Once they fail to achieve any meaningful trophies in the next 2-3 seasons, they'll just don't have any money left to rebuild the team."

Keep on reliving the past you prick as your nick suggest coz you guys are way past your prime while we are building for the future with our youths.
