hmm this shows that ibrahimovic is better, because he doesnt have xavi, iniesta etc. he did all that on his own!!!

i agree, the only reason eto'o scored a couple more goals than ibra is because zlatan didnt have the support from midfield and the wings. Ibrahimovic WILL score more than eto'o once he adapts to the team.

The only reason Eto'o scored a couple more goals than ibra is because, he was injured for 5 months. If he wasn't injured for that long, this stat wouldn't be this close.

Ibra-Messi! It can't get any better. If we get another super DM like De Rossi (can get him for 25m), we will be invincible, but Henry on the left with Iniesta in the middle, or Busquets on the DM with Yaya in the middle is also good!

can someone tell me what kind of injury ibra had last year and stayed out for 3 months?

Who cares about the stats!! I want to see Ibracadabra play!!

I like Ibra's size. Hopefully he can connect with Alves and crush in some headers instead of having to finish with his feet.

But I don't think we should compare Eto'o to Ibra. Eto'o served his purpose and scored goals, that is all that matters. Eto'o also helped us to the treble and many other silverware.
Ibra will come in and serve his purpose, he might play the same position as Samu but his ROLE might be different.
If we have to make comparisons wait till Ibra actually plays for us.

VISCA BARCA!

skanjos, the only injury that I can remember hearing about was something wrong with his knee. I'm not sure if that is what you are talking about though. I don't his knee kept him out for 3 months though, so his knee might not be what you are looking for. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I think Ibra was injured in 2007-08 and not in 2008-09 season !

skanjos that person whoever made the statistics set the wrong date, zlatan was out for 3 months in the 07/08 season not 08/09 where he returned for the last game in serie A and single handily won the match to win the scudetto with his two goals.

Let's see what Zlatan can do against busses this year...

By the way: any reason why your stats only start in 2006? Doesn't seem very logic. I'll add the 2004-2006 stats.

2004-2006 stats for Zlatan:

2004-2005: 45 games - 16 goals
2005-2006: 47 games - 10 goals

2004-2006 stats for Eto'o:

2004-2005: 45 games - 29 goals
2005-2006: 48 games - 34 goals

Let be serious! these stat's instead prove that eto'o is better than ibra. And why the seasons 2004-2005 2005-2006 are not mentionned. It's really curious.
