Total deal on Caceres loan to Juventus

All Italian and Spanish media claim that all parties involved have found a deal on the transfer of Barcelona central defender and Uruguayan international Martín Cáceres (22) to Juventus.

Although some media report that Cáceres will join Juventus on a permant transfer, most media claim that it will be a one-year loan, with a buy option of (10 or) 12 million euro. Juventus player Poulsen would in the end not be part of the deal (read more here).

Italian sports paper Tuttosport claims that Cáceres will be in Turin tomorrow to undergo the medical tests. Catalan radio station RAC 1 claims that the Uruguayan centre-back and his agent Daniel Fonseca travelled already to Italy today to finalize the deal.

In the end we will lose (if Juve buys him for 12) 4,5 millions plus the salary we paid him last season. I think he just wasn't made for Barça.

True, and i think if we Chygrynskiy well have the same problem next year...we better let Fontas or Muniesa (altough i think hes a bit too small for now) play in both Barca & Barca B as backup. we already have 4 players for the centre back position (included Milito). If needed Abidal & Touré can also play at centre back....lets not waste any more money, just promote some cantera's.

I think he is a HUGE loss if Barca gets rid of him. He is faster than Pique, a bit shorter but he is able to play any defensive position in the back. He is also 22 and all he needs is a bit more experience. True a couple of Barca B just got promoted but neither are at Caceres level... which is why I find it so weird they will give the the chance to play to the 17 year old ones but not to Caceres which is better than all the reserves.

even if he plays well in Juventus he'll be back next year sitting in the bench because all of our center backs are better than him, Good Luck Caceres.

cacere would have never become barca-material, so it was best for him to leave.
best also, that we were saved by poulsen

Loan to buy is a terrible option for us. If he flops we get back an overrated player. If becomes a fantastic player then we only get 12 million. Either way we lose. Should have gotten 12 million up front or a bigger loan to buy clause.
