Guardiola ends succesfull first year as coach


After winning the title (read more here), new Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola assured the promotion of Barcelona B to the Segunda División B, the Spanish third division. Barcelona B won the last game of the play-offs with 1-0 against Barbastro with a goal from Víctor Vázquez. Last year, Barcelona B were relegated from the Segunda División B.



The Spanish league structure is as follows:

Primera División (20 teams)
Segunda División (22 teams)
Segunda División B (4 groups of 20 teams)
Tercera División (18 groups of 20 teams)

R.Castilla plays in Segunda-B.

Off topic:
Girona F.C. got the promotion to Segunda-A. That's a historical hit for the Catalan team.

I hope he brings in the success this club deserves, I really wish to see Barca winning titles next season ..

I am not sure how naive my question will look, but if Barcelona B kept promoting all the way,will it be possible (based to the league system)that u will have two barcelona teams in first divission, sound wierd for me.

That's not possible,I think: they can only go to Segunda.
