Racing Santander wants Jeffren on loan

Santander football site El Racinguista claims that Racing Santander is interested in Barcelona Atlètic wing attacker Jeffren Suárez (21).

The Spanish first division club would be interested in loaning Jeffren for one season, while both the player and Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola would think a loan could be a good option.

Cantabria regional newspaper El Diario Montañés meanwhile reports that Racing officials have already been in contact with Manuel Jiménez, the agent of Jeffren, after having received the permission of Barcelona. Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo on the other hand claims that sources close to the player deny the talks and say that a decision on the future of Jeffren will only be made after the US tour and a meeting with Guardiola.

It's promotion to the first team of this kind of loan, I think. Another season with the second team would be a waste.

After the way they messed with us about the garay Transfer i don't think we should be loaning good players for their benefit. jeffren impressed me and i think he deserves a shot at the first team this year along with Gai, Muniesa etc.

They didn't mess it up, we apparently couldn't decide or Madrid paid more cash (and they have credit problems). You cannot take into account all of that, otherwise you won't deal with any club anymore. If it's the best option, he should go there. I think he has potential but we already have Pedro so in my opinion one of the two will go out on loan to get more minutes.

jeffren or gai has to move on loan .one of the two is needed in the first team.its up to pep to decide.i say he will choose to keep gai and loan jeffren the reason is gai can play matches with barca b too and gain there expirience too ,and when he needs some rotation use him, also its easier to find a club for jeffren cause he is older, and for jeffren playing for barca b at 21 is a holding him down.remember they are battling for the winger position after henry/iniesta/messi/bojan/pedro so they arent gonna get much time.

i'm glad i saw bojan play as striker (his natural position)in the first 2 games though,he showed he is a threat when playing there.

Agreed with skanjos on his last remark. Problem is now that we bought Keirrison who's also very young and whose natural position is also centre forward. Both are the type of typical goalgetters. Well, for Keirrison I base myself on some vids so we'll see later.
