Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that
Barcelona wing attacker Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma (22) will stay with the club this season.
The Spanish winger won't leave on loan like had been rumoured earlier this summer (read more here) and will in the coming days be awarded a new shirt number between 1 and 25, numbers that are reserved for first team players.

Congrats Pedrito! You earned this chance by keeping your head down and working hard. Well done. Now, go grab the opportunity!
good for him
a hard working man
i expect he'll get the number 7 (or jeffren but its unlikely)
i dont think he'll stay in the club too long i mean hes as old as messi and bojan is like 3 years younger and he has a bigger role in the club hes good but....
Good decision. I like his willingness to take on a defender or two and not hesitant in front of goal. All he needs is more match practice to hone his accuracy. I can see him as a natural cover/back-up for Messi as he is more of a left-footed winger. Being a youth product of Barca, he doesn't have to adapt as shown by his possesion and link-up play. Unless someone of a high calibre comes in at a reasonable price (can't think of any for now), Pedro should be second choice RW.
Barca>madrid
Age doesn't matter, if he blooms a bit later than Bojan so what as long as he can offer something to the team.
Remember Iniesta took a few years more than Messi to blossom
He deserves not only the number change, but also more minutes next season.
With Hleb gone, it looks like he's going to muve one place up. Behind Messi-Zlatan-Henry, there's now first Bojan and than him.
