Athletic coach Caparros: "We will have chances"

Athletic Bilbao manager Joaquín Caparrós commented at a press conference on Sunday's super cup's game against Barcelona:

"If we want to surprise them, we will have to play a good game in every way possible. We have to be solid at the back. And we have to be efficient because we will have our chances. We have to transmit belief. This game will have to make us grow. The opponent gives us extra motivation and a positive result will strengthen us.

Barcelona is giving me the same feelings as three months ago before the cup final. They're continuing with their way of playing, of intensity, of concentration. I don't know if it's better to play agaisnt them now. Last year, when players like Iniesta or Messi didn't play, others replaced them and they nonetheless won difficult away games. That's why Barça did what they did and they're still keeping the same line.

This chance to win a trophy is a reward for what we performed last year and it helps us to remember how important last season was both at a sporting and at a social level. Now we have to think only about the super cup. If we already start to think about next week's uefa cup game, that would be a bad thing. We have to have all our five senses focused on Barcelona."
