At least three more transfers coming up

Asked about the transfer operations, Barcelona economic vice president Ferran Soriano (picture) has said in an interview with Catalan radio station RAC 1 that Barcelona plans to make a few more transfers this summer:

"We still have to close three or four transfers, but that number can still change depending on the players who will leave the club."

Barcelona sports vice president Txiki Begiristain said at a press conference that the club plans to do three more transfers: "We're still looking for a centre forward, a winger and an attacking midfielder. For the three positions we're working on different options."

Just a guess but I'd go with Arshavin, Silva and a suprise selection, Drogba! Before you fly off the handle just think about the following (very possible) scenario. Adebayor we all know would rather go to Milan than Barcelona, and for Arsenal's asking price Adebayor is clearly not worth the money nor the effort. Barcelona could also get Drogba at a lesser price than Adebayor IF they agree in principle to seel Eto'o' to Chelsea. Drobga would also cost less than Trezequet and Trez's a year older than Drogba so you can't use the "age" issue as a reason not to sign him. He's also 6'2 and ONLY an inch shorter than Adebayor. Plus Drogba's just as physical as Adebayor and good at headers and can be had for a cheaper price. Yes, I know he has a bit of a fiery attitude at times but I think that has more do to about being upset when Mourinho left and feeling unsettled at the club after his departure. Sure he had an "off year" last season but still managed to score 17 goals. And if you look at the year before that he scored 32 goals in the league which is just as many as Adebayor had this past season. Drogba's a proven commodity and for a cheaper price than other alternatives I think he makes sense for Barcelona. I'm sure everyone else is going to think I'm crazy.

@Drogba: From a footballing perspective, he would be in the same mould as Adebayor and nearly perfect for Pep's plans.

But then, he is a prick in my opinion. Diving whenever he has the possibility, ellbowing,...

For the striker, we should just keep Samu, sell Henry and get a guy like Güiza :-(
