Catalan sports paper Sport claims that during his stay in London last Friday, Barcelona sports vice president Marc Ingla met also with an intermediary who is looking for an English club that wants to transfer Barcelona attacker and Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen (29) to discuss the situation.
The paper claims that Greek club Panathinaikos, whose new manager Henk ten Cate is interested in Gudjohnsen (read more here), would have made Barcelona a first formal offer of 5 million euro° for the Icelandic striker.

Just sell him already and be done with it! I don't understand Barcelona's reluctance to sell him at this point. They're not going to get more than 5mil for him so why continue holding onto him?
