We just had a new story on Mata: Barcelona would tomorrow make an offer. Don't know the height of Jonathan.

And I don't have any inside knowledge for sure, I just read, hear and see things... ;)

How much did we pay for Cáceres? Would we at least recoup the fee, if Juve utilise their option?

Guys, what do you think of Pablo Aimar as cover for Xavi and Iniesta? I know he just sign on with Benfica last year but only for some 7mil. Do you think he's a good rotation cover for the two and maybe we can offer Benfica a small profit of say 3-5mil max. in return?

Pep just wants to get rid of these players like Caceres, Hleb and Gudjonsen... We don't get paid for letting them go.

Buj: Pablo Aimar is like 31 years-old so i don't think so they will get him at this age

B nike, he's the same age as Xavi, 29, and 30 by Nov. I know Masche is Pep's Midfield transfer target but he's a long-term replacement and I'm sure plays DM while Aimar's is AM. I know Xavi and Inesta are still able but they have got no proven cover in case of injury/fatigue.

For a price of 10-12mil he'll be a good stop gap cover for them IMO. He can be used for rotation, until such time we can find or develop a more permanent replacement.

All this of course depends on if he wants to be benched 50-75% of the time as he will always be a first-choice player for any team.

Aimar looked really good the other day. He has some flashes of his Valencia game. His combinations with Saviola were great. I think they have a good team and Pablo is a centerpiece of it.

Will be hard for Keirrison to get into Benfica first 11. No point in loaning him out if he stays on the bench at Benfica.

What if Barca want him back from loan next year but Juve is willing to pay the money, who gets him?

fcbee said...

That's usually arranged in the contracted, Iason. Normally you would say: if they pay, they have him. Unless the contract says Barcelona has first option.

what if caceres refuse to stay juve, what's gonna happen?

if caceres decides to stay then juve will pay the money and he stays.I WISH THE BEST OF LUCK MARTIN.MAY BE WE SEE U NEXT YEAR.

Good question, Anony.

You would say: if he really wants to return, he shouldn't have accepted the option to buy him next summer. Now something can happen in the meanwhile and he can change his mind.

Basically you don't want a player in your team that doesn't want to stay, so probably they wouldn't buy him in that case.

@Anonymous

Caceres is still under contract with Barca, so if Juve wants him and he says no. He would return to Barca.
