Barcelona players Dani Alves, Xavi and Rafael Márquez shared their thoughts with the club's official media and journalists after yesterday's friendly game against Los Angeles Galaxy.
Dani Alves
"The team is doing quite good. We're taking care of everything and we're getting in shape so we can again reach our best form after having come back from vacations.
Maxwell? He's an excellent player. He needs to adapt but he's smart enough to understand what the coach wants. The youth players are very talented and it's good to see that every year a few of them are promoted to the first team."
Xavi
"Los Angeles are a very competitive and dynamic team, they took us on but we reacted well. To have so many people out there in the stands is great for a player, it motivates you from the start. The youth players show that when they get a chance, they grab it. There's talent and they are feeling good."
Márquez
"I'm good, getting better step by step. Today I've played for thirty minutes, maybe I can play one half the next game. Maxwell did well. It's his first game, he's adapting and trying to follow the instructions given by the coach. Ibrahimovic? I'm sure he'll also do his defensive work. We'll make sure he does it because everyone should be involved. He's a great guy with a good sense of humour. We try to make him feel comfortable and I'm sure he'll find his place in the group."

It gives you a bit of peace of mind when a senior player gives a reminder to a new player his responsibility to his team, no matter how big a star he is. That shows no one is bigger than the team.
I think Alves look different this season :D
He has copied his coach and cut off all his hair... Pep is his god!
Alves looks goood like that! I love the new kit as well, it looks the business! =]
