Ajax interested in Henrique loan

Madrid sports tabloid Marca claims that Barcelona is looking for a club for Barcelona central defender Henrique Adriano Buss (22).

Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola reportedly thinks the Brazilian player doesn't have the qualities needed to play at Barcelona.

The club would therefore have started looking for an exit for Henrique, on loan or permanently. Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam would have shown interest in the centre-back, who played last season on loan with German club Bayer Leverkusen, and would want to sign the player on loan.

Good news guys looks like Sneijder are leaving Madrid for Inter, i hope this is true, he is very good.

Who cares about Sneijder? Once in ten games he has a good shot on goal and that's it. Same for Van der Vaart.

c'mmon...pep!
we can not afford to push him out at all.
bringing cicinho or grygera to RB?
craaaaaaaaaaaap.
give him more chance.

Sneijder is a lot better than van der vaart i could easily see him competing with Xavi Iniesta for the midfield position

Hope Sneijder stays at Madrid, so he can again do nothing this season

Back on topic (BARCA...): are we really going to end up with a squad of 18 players?

The squad will be stripped down to 15 players. Pep likes a small squad. And with 70 games next season, who can blame him?

we dont need more than 18 first team players ,thats what a squad should look like the other 7 spots should youth players if needed and when needed.or you can be madrid and have 25 first team players that whine because they get no playing time, like hleb did last year.....

we need at least 2 more signings one on defence and one on midfield ,if we dont keep jeffren we need one in offence too but i think we will keep the lad,he had a good preseason and he is a good backup player

I think Ajax would be a good Club for him concerning his style of play and quality. But I really get a little annoyed about the board buying a lot of young players for big monay that don't work out (Caceres - Henrique - Saviola - Keirrison(???) ) Why don't we count on our youth players? They are a lot cheaper and adapted to the Barca Style. And Pep can watch their development. According to the significant positions to be strengthened - get in Muniesa and Fontas!

A squad playing in 6 competitions in a World Cup year and several players leaving for Africa Cup, should have only 18 players?

Let us see how happy you will be with Jeffren-Bojan-Pedro as our attack against Chelsea in the CL skanjos, with Victor Sanchez on the right back.

m8 you wrote one of the worst case senario ,thats in case of ibra/messi/iniesta/henry got injury all together.with that logic lets get 25 world class players.....
you cant have only world stars and rotate youth players and some backup players have to rotate too in order to not have trouble.pedro/bojan/busquets/jeffren are the backup players ,not first team material but have some expirience and are needed,we just fill the rest with youth players like muniesa/fontas/dos santos/thiago/gai.

but we need 2 more players at least .1 world class and 1 back up player.

Uh, no offense skanjos, but who do you think is injured right now

Messi/Iniesta/Ibra/Henry/Marquez

Seems like a significant number no?

If we go by last season it is likely we would have a few injuries to Iniesta and Henry. If for example Xavi get injured as well, we are in for lots of trouble.

We need Henrique. He's done fairly well, considering it's preseason. Give him time to adjust a bit more. We just might need him. Better than than spending on another player who could end up not working.

Worst case, skanjos? Hardly. That's about the injury list we have right now. Not to mention the stress our players will be under when playing 70 matches, it is a recipe for injuries when having such a small squad. So it can certainly be worse than having Jeffren-Bojan-Pedro up front.

Skanjos: Have you heard about something called solid players that are not world superstars? Or are there only two types of players for you: World class superstars or youth players?

It is a disaster to have such a small squad with the most extensive fixture list any team has had in football history. Pure madness. Let us see what we do for the reminder of the transfer season. But we will probably have the worst squad depth of any top team.

actually, there arent that many games more than last season, if you actually think about it.

the world club cup is only 2-3 games extra, if we reach the final. last season saw maximum progress in both the spanish cup and CL, which meant maximum games played. if we win them again this year, we will only be playing 6 extra games. i think the players can handle that? and if we are stretched, there is always the winter transfer window.

trust the squad!

Problem with the schedule is not just the 6 extra matches that you are talking about... The club world cup would be during mid-season where we will be missing 2 matches. To compensate, we need to play those two matches during mid-week in January. So it would be like 5 games in 2 weeks. Never mind the World cup qualifiers and the international friendlies. Also we were VERY lucky with injuries last season. Do you think it would the same case this season as well!?

Dont forget the African Nations Cup and the shorter season because of World Cup. The African Nations Cup will put extra workload on our remaining midfielders and the World Cup will put even greater work load on them because the season is shortened, but the amount of games will not be reduced, quite the opposite, it will be more games in a shorter season.
