Manchester City will be Gamper opponent

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona has reached an agreement with Manchester City on their participation in the Joan Gamper Trophy that will be played on Wednesday 19 August in Barcelona.

After having held talks with several clubs, among which Inter Milan, AC Milan, Porto and Juventus, Barcelona would over the past days have started negotiotions with Manchester City. The deal could be officially announced later today.

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims the deal is not closed yet but that the negotiations with the English Premier League club are well-advanced.

That will be a good match to see Manchester City's new signings in action: Tevez, Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Barry. Will be interesting but we'll still kill em. Score preditions anyone? I say 4-0 :P

i just wish messi and iniests doesn't participate in gampermatches.don't wanna see our key players getting injury in such useless matches

Iniesta is made out of glass, he could get injured for meaningless games and be out for weeks/months.

I cant wait to see barca face man city. It will be nice seeing Robinho again. Schuster killed his madrid career.

I think Man city will play a 4-3-3.
Robinho and Tevez at wings with Adebayor as Striker.

We shouldn't play our key players in this game

We should start young players/non-starters and then put in better players 2nd half if needed like last year against Boca.
