Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona and Arsenal have closed an deal on the transfer of Arsenal midfielder and Spain international Cesc Fabregas (22).The agreement reportedly says that Cesc will join Barcelona this summer if Arsenal gets eliminated in the Champions League qualifying tie against Celtic Glasgow.
If Arsenal qualifies for the Champions League, Arsenal would sell Cesc to Barcelona next year for a fee between 30 and 35 million euros. The English club knows it's the dream of the Catalan player to return to Barcelona, doesn't want to obstruct his progress and would see the transfer as a reward for his services and dedication to the club over the past years.

He only waited all the time to secure their position in CL, when he could be sure of the 30 million that comes for qualification & he's gonna wrap in some nice signings like vermaelen recently. Do you think Arsenal's scouting is as mediocre as ours!? NO
What if Arsenal do win some thing this year? Do you really think they would be ready to sell their best player? Do you really think Cesc would be willing to sacrifice his position as the best player of an elite European club after he gets to win a silverware!? Get a grip guys...

ReplyDeleteThis is fair solution, we will have Cesc next year, there is no doubt, and asking price is not so high for that fantastic player. So, this in next days we have to sign to new players, and i think we will make it. I have some sense that we will get some fantastic player in next days

Laporta will be backing a candidate from the current board. If barca wins the League and CL double again Laporta's backing and board continuity may be worth much more than Rosell's name

ReplyDeleteThis is just another typical transfer rumor as some already pointed out. However there is no doubt that they will go after him next season as it is election year and the candidates need big names to win it.
ReplyDeleteWenger knows this very well and will surely use that to increase Cesc price. I don't see them selling him for just the 35 million or so they claim. My guess is that Arsenal will not let him go for less than 40 million.
