Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona player Andrés Iniesta (25) will join the group training in the coming days.
It is still believed that the player will be able to make his official debut with Barcelona this season in the Joan Gamper Trophy game against Manchester City on Wednesday 19 August (read more here).
Iniesta tore a quadriceps muscle on the front of his right thigh during the league game against Villarreal on Sunday 10 May and although he played the Champions League final against Manchester United on Wednesday 27 May, he has never fully recovered from that injury. On Friday 5 June, the medical staff of the Spanish football federation confirmed that the player has torn a muscle in his thigh and he was then expected to be out for the next six to eight weeks.

Uhm, Harvey, I seriously doubt you'll find anyone on this blog doubting Iniestas ability.
Yeah, the "Iniesta is underrated" talk can stop now. Guess half of the people who matter in the football world have already praised him by now.

Went to Nike town to get more Barca jerseys for nephews (trying to sign them for Barca..lol) and there was this glass in the middle of the jersey section with Iniesta's jersey well folded and glassed.. The guy is not underated anymore..

Iniesta is a KEY player not only for Barça but also for Spain . EVERY TIME he was out of the line up both Barça and Spain struggled or barely managed to get by . I would NOT be surprised if Iniesta or Xavi or both were runners-up to Messi for the Bal D'Or or the FIFA player of the year or both . Iniesta is no longer underrated . He is one of the best midfielders in the world !!

and people dont want fab, mata, eboue. we need depth seriously..wat ever but we need it fast...2 weeks is nothing il go by fast. then ikud here everybody crying aw we shud of gone for this this this yeah yeah.. just hope barca buys some players an soon!!!
