Barcelona's official website has announced that Barcelona player Lionel Messi (22) will undergo tests tomorrow, after he suffered a muscle contracture during yesterday's training session with the Argentinian national team.
Barcelona's medical staff has been in touch with the Argentinian national team doctors to discuss the issue.
Although he won't take part in tonight's friendly against Russia, Messi will stay with the squad in Moscow and return to Barcelona on Thursday, when he will undergo further tests.

wel, their lack of height is serious. but they're lethal.
Sport claims Barca inquired about Arda Turan from Galatasaray... If we really want him we could buy him in split second, Rjikaard being their manager :)
Argentina sucks now. They have players like Di Maria, Zarate, Higuain, Cambiasso, Demichellis and Samuel that are amazing and they choose to play Gutierez, Milito, Veron, Diaz, another random CB and an off form Kun instead. Argentina can be right up there with Brazil and Spain if they used the right players but Maradona is stupid. A Striker partnership of Higuain and Zarate with Di Maria and Messi on the wings would be awesome!
Nobody plays with two wingers and two strikers any more. You get hammered in central midfield with such a line-up.
Argentina is winning Russia 3-1, el Kun scored equalizer & made an assisted 3rd goal of Datolo, very effective technique he has. BTW second goal was scored by Lisandro Lopes after the minute he appeared on the pitch, so did Datolo. Arshavin should been transfered to Barça last year, what a playmaker...
