Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona player Zlatan Ibrahimovic has asked for extra training sessions.
The Swedish striker would be aware that it will not be easy to adapt to Barcelona's 4-3-3, the movements he has to make and the way the ball circulates, and that he will have to make an extra effort if he wants to adapt to the system.
Ibrahimovic would therefore have asked Guardiola and the assistant coaches for more training sessions and, following the example of former Barcelona centre forward Henrik Larsson, he would also plan to watch a lot of videos to adapt quicker.

thats really cool. this guy is going to be a legend!
Excellent attitude from Ibrahimovic, something Hleb should have shown. I believe he'll adapt quickly & entertain the fans all season long. I look forward to seeing him play with Messi.
a real pro !!!
Thats the spirit and the attitude we need !!!
Visça Barça !!!
AND some people say he has an ATTITUDE problem.........
just shows how much he wants that CL crown... everyone looks to barca if they want the cl trophy cause this is our decade to rule.. 4 more cl in the next 10yrs.
Good ATTITUDE for IBRA =]
that's a smart move. larsson may not be the same type of player as him but their speed is similar. he may be able to pick up some of his positioning and movement from watching his vids @ barca..more relevant to him that watching vids of our last CF eto.
Best news in a long time. This is why Hleb sucked in Barca. He would never have done a thing like this. I got to say I was a bit worried about Ibras attitude before, but after hearing this I am really happy :D
@ doogle I don't think the article means that he will watch vids of Larsson. Apparently Larsson watch alot of vids of barca when adapting to Barca and Ibra wants to do the same thing.
i wish Larsson was young and still is here
Now that's an attitude I like!
Look at him! He's a head taller than the guy that is the wall for practice!
That's what I wanted to hear!
He is really willing to do a big step! Not everybody expected that before the transfer got through!
GO IBRA!
Ibra will be a big flop and we sell him in summer 2010.
Blaugranato, u are a jerk with no idea or knowledge about football. Get over your hatred for ibra cos he will be a big hit whether u hate him or not, i bet u are not even a Barca fan but a wolf in sheep skin. No true Barca fan will like to see ibra flop.but only a pessimist or some madrid fan.wait till u see him score 40 goals a season then u'll eat ur words back.
I'm a big Barca fan since 12 years.
But I'm an Ibra-hater, that's true. I loved Eto'o and it makes me hard to believe that Samu is now history.
I hope that Ibra will adapt well by scoring many and many goals, but I don't think so.
