Eto'o happy and emotional about Camp Nou return

In an interview with Italian sports paper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto'o has commented on the Champions League group-stage draw that put Barcelona and Inter Milan in the same group:

"It's a good thing to be able to return to the Camp Nou. I am relaxed, I am happy but above all I am emotional. The fans of Barcelona will always have a place in my heart.

And I prefer Barcelona over Sevilla. When their game is over, they just keep on running. I already received an sms text message from Puyol saying 'Guardiola told me that if I mark you well, he will renew my contract'. I am also satisfied that Messi and Xavi have won the awards, although I think both Valdés and Piqué deserved a recognition."

I hope he gets the welcome he deserves, namely a standing ovation and some sort of tribute (I think Laporta already mentioned something about the idea of a tribute).

Eto'o :*)

It was real mistake to replace him with Ibra.

LOL Puyol! The caveman's got some sense of humor :P
Also remember the in the video where Messi, Iniesta, Pique, VV & Xavi pose with a ball in their hand? After the pose is over Messi said some thing in the ear of cameraman and he was about to kick on Messi's ass :D

EMD says the board might go for a last minute bid for Juan Mata & the player is expecting for that to happen... Now even when Luis Suarez openly stated that he's dreaming about a move to Barca there's no response from the board, I wonder how EMD expects us to believe we will be going for Mata who only 'expects'

@TengkuAmir10

Not yet proven, how about him being on the spanish national team?

Hes just as proven as A. Young, but better =)

Go for it Barca!

Ahley Yound would not our system Amir... He's more of a traditional winger trying to stick to the sideline and then wip in numerous crosses. We need a winger/striker to play in our system, who is capable of cutting-in and passing or taking a shot. Look at how Valencia is playing in ManUtd now, he beats opponents LB and then is in dilemma whether to send in a cross or cut-in and pass... wasting too much time there and losing the ball. We don't want that to happen with us.
Moreover, Ashley Young is not such a big talent anyway for us to sign him

I guess he is waking up to the reality of what his stubornness has cost him. I hope this will be a good lesson for him for the rest of his life:respect the institution that helped you blossom. He was a good player for us but his attitude was intolerable.
