Asked about the rumours linking him with several European clubs, Ajax forward and Uruguay international Luis Suárez (22) has said in an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that he plans to stay at Ajax this summer:
"I will stay. Because I feel good here and because I know that coach Martin Jol can make me even better. And that is needed to succeed at a top club.
Of course I'm thinking about what would happen if a club like Barcelona would show interest. To play there is the dream of every child, so also my dream. Now my feeling says no, because I'm still not ready for that. I feel important here, supported by the group and the coaches and I want to help the club winning the league and taking part in the Champions League. But maybe Ajax will sell if there would be a bid of many millions."

he has improved a lot ...and he is ready for the barca train .... last season he scored 21 goals made 14 assist this season already 9 goals
if u look most of his goals are scored from dead ball situatuion he scores a lot of headder too !!!

Txiki probably hasn't heard of him or Dembele. Txiki is just asleep and when he wakes up every now and then, he complains that "transfer market is difficult"/"impossible to get players to join the best club in the world"/blablabla.
valencia wont sell there players and forget riberry this season and also for next coz we wont be in a postion to cash on him if we go for fab which seems top priority
suarez would be best who has already played in ajax which plays 3 forward system can play in any position upfront good since henry wont be playing more mins due to his age and injury probs & can act as back up for messi and then inesta wont need to cover wings
he is creative and good finisher most of all versatile player works hard gets back to gain possesion !!!

Luis Suarez always wanted to come to spain, may be he idolizes Diego Forlan. But he was in two minds whether to join us or Real because Hunterlaar was at Real. now that he's gone away he wants to join the champions :)

This transfer window we targeted Villa, Silva & Mata from Valencia; Fabregas from Arsenal; Mascherano & Riera from Liverpool; Zlatan Ibrahimovie from Inter(which actually was my dream and I am so fucking happy it came true :) Many of them are very unlikely targets if you look into them. We never seems to target quality players from other leagues like Suarez... there was indeed some speculation previously linking him with us but God knows what might have happened :(
It seems Ronnie just ROCKED for Milan setting up Pato for numerous goals and more but the bloody duck managed to convert only 2... seems like there's gonna be very stiff competition between the Barca ex' Ronnie & Eto'o :)

Perfect player he is to be our winger, a scoring winger. But he won't provide any back-up for Iniesta. The only possibility would be him playing in RW and Messi playing Iniesta's role like he excelled against Real and ManUtd :)
But where as some one like Arda or Afellay would provide direct back-up for Iniesta. But nevertheless would welcome Suarez to the boat, he would give Henry a run for his money :)

He is a good player and would be ideal to play in Henry's position but like some already said it's just speculation and it won't come true. Txiki is really slacking off, he has only gotten a big name (Ibra) and for a lot of money. I think it is more likely they get Chygrynskyi.

Suarez frequently comes to barca to visit his family-in-law... Now I see only one way would he be able to sign for Barca, i.e., he himself comes to the city, has a secret meeting with Txiki, begs to have a look at his performances for Ajax and asks Txiki to consider him to be a replacement for Henry. Or else I don't see it happening with Txiki being so 'hyper-active!' in this transfer window :(

I never meant Suarez is ahead of Henry or Chyggy is ahead of Puyol... Only I'd like the team to be that way few years from now, say like 2-3 years. That is IF they both do well with the team. Or else just replace Chyggy with Muniesa & Suarez with Bojan. No offense meant at all and sorry for not adding the word future :)

With Chyhrynskiy coming to barca almost imminent, I see Muniesa owning the LB spot in a few years. Heard he's good both at LCB & LB. And the few minutes he played against Man City it did indeed seem so. I think like Puyol started at RB, Muniesa would be starting his professional career at LB. Any body else share the opinion?
I don't think Jol wants to sell him now. Next year or maybe the winter break but not now. I wouldn't mind him coming though but Txiki cannot force clubs to change their minds on players nor should we bend over and let them screw us for the transfer fee like what Deportivo and Valencia tried to do
We should go for this guy. The Ajax system and football phylosphy is very similar to Barca. Look at the players we have brought from there. De Boar brothers, Kluivert, Reizinger and the greatest of them all Cruiyff.
This guy would fit into our system comfortably. I say go get him NOW!
Muniesa could be a good alternative as a defensive-minded LB like Abidal.
Waiting with my fingers crossed for the barca media to pick up the speculation man!!! So pissed with our lack of transfer activity all summer, that too when we have 2 very seriously injury prone players in Henry & Iniesta in our first 11 :(
Hope we would be lucky with Xavi & Messi again this season and they won't pick up any knocks
