Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Arsenal has shown interest in Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic (17) during the negotiations between Barcelona and the English Premier League club on the transfers of Arsenal players Hleb and Adebayor.
When former Barcelona sports vice president Marc Ingla travelled to London to close the deal on Hleb and to try to persuade Arsenal to lower their asking price for Adebayor (read more here), Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger was present during the talks.

While opposing the exit of Adebayor, Wenger dropped the name of Bojan and asked for his contract situation and the possibility of the striker leaving Barcelona. Although Wenger insisted, Ingla didn't even want to enter the issue.
Barcelona is at this moment preparing a renewal offer for Bojan, which will be presented to the player as soon as he turns 18 at the end of August (read more here). The current contract of Bojan expires next summer.
