Chygrynskiy approach rejected

Catalan sports paper Sport is reporting that Barcelona president Joan Laporta, accompanied by technical secretary Txiki Bergiristain and director of football Raul Sanllehi, travelled to Ukraine Thursday to meet with Shakhtar Donestsk president Rinat Akhmetov to discuss the transfer of Shakhtar defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22).

Barcelona's approach is believed to have been rejected by both the club and the player himself. Barcelona would have made an offer of 15 million euro for the defender.

well that is dedication right there from the player, hope he wants to come in the future if we're still interested. i guess bruno is the other option left if barca still want tot sign a good CB.

Josep "Pep" Guardiola i Sala - We are strikers who defend, we are defenders who attack, we are speed, we are strength, we are effort, we are precision, we are as one... We are Barça

HEHE
I even forgot Bojan, keirrison and keita don't you think?
I only wanted to emphasize on the most exciting talent already-to-use that we would have right now if we signed Chyhrynskiy :)

Well if the player says no then that's just it then. Time to move on to another target.

I wouldn't mind R. Carvalho as a CB..

Experience, can play one-on-one, isn't as expenisve as some other. If you would rotate at the back (Alves can't play 80 at that level & pace, Puyol is getting older, some young guys need do adjust in the "smaller games).
