  10. Line Up: Valdes, Alves, Puyol, Marquez, Abidal, Keita, Xavi, Iniesta, PEDRO, Eto'o, Henry

Bench: Pinto, Caceres, Pique, Gudjohnsen, Bojan, Hleb, Toure.

Pedro is in the first 11, strange, no Bojan or Hleb.

Still cant connect to one of the channels on myp2p.eu :(

    Really love this place

    Més que un club

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hey guys just to let you know
Silva has agreed on signing an improved five-yeras deal so he is staying in Valencia

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes, I heard about Silva. Now we have to look for someone else, for example Neves. I think he'll be perfect for the squad. But we'll see...

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think that Txiki said that if Silva doesnt come the squad is finalised but I also think that Neves would be perfect and not so expensive

    ReplyDelete
  41. please can anyone tell me where i can watch the match online?I just got home:)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Ahh darn. But thats okay. Worked fine today without a real left wing.

But yes Neves would be nice. Just hope he don't end like Riquelme. That would be a waste.

    ReplyDelete
  43. yes,i agree with all of u guys.we should buy neves and see...very cheap price i quess.good match, nice ball movement but hope to see us play against better teams soon, then i will judge...

sincerely,i love everything up till now, just keep it up barca and no injuries pls

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes but you must know that tonight we played without Messi so Guardiola had to adjust formation but when Messi return we will play 4-3-3 formation,so there is no real left-wing,expect Barca buy Neves or Guardiola change formation we will be stuck with Hleb and Iniesta playing left but as we all know left-wing is not their natural position especially for Iniesta

    ReplyDelete
  45. I actually think Alves got substituted because of a small injury in his shoulder. But I was very impressed of his style. His debut and he was aggressive in all his touches.

And about neves again, it would also be a shame not to see Predito/predo show his qualities. He played a good match aswell. So tbh, i think our squad is complete. We should be able to make it until the winter window, and if nessecary there we can buy a player.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Great match tonight, hope Alves isn't seriously injured. Looking forward to see other matches from our Barca!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Offtopic:
What was the price asked for Neves?

    ReplyDelete
  48. please can anyone tell me where i can watch the match online?I just got home:)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Not sure you can watch it anymore. At least i don't know where. Sorry.

    About Neves:

Just search in the labels in the left side. It says barca offered 10 mio euro but that would probably raise after Beijing. And since he scored 3 goals already he will probably be valued more than 10 mio euro. My guess is 15+.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Two weeks off for Alves. Shoulder sprain. Unfortunate, as there really isn't a viable left back. Caceres can play there, and will probably be pressed into service.

Great match. Most impressive was the constant midfield pressure and one-touch passing. If they keep that up, we'll be a pretty tough side to beat.

Henry and Eto'o are also learning to play together. That can only be good. Imagine adding Messi to that mix.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Never a good sign to see a player go down, but it rather have it happen now, before the season get's underway. Hopefully Alves will be ready to jump back into action by the end of the month or at worst miss a game or two, (they open up against Numancia on the 31st.) From there the schedule shows a two week gap, with Barcelona's next La Liga match not scheduled until the 14th of September against Racing. Might be a good thing to rest Alves for the first match if he's not 100% and give him the additional two weeks to recover in time for Racing. If Barcelona need Alves in order to beat Numancia God help them!

I hope a shoulder sprain is all it is and not a separated shoulder which would be far worse news. Even when you pop those back into place it's pretty much a sure bet to get separated again much more easily with far less contact.

He shouldn't have to be rushed back into service either. From now till the end of the month Barcelona don't have any pressing matches and the second leg against Wisla should be a mere formality.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I havent seen the final score posted on here yet, so for those who didnt watch, Barca 4 - Wisla 0
    Eto'o-2
    Henry-1
    Xavi-1

    Good Showing

    ReplyDelete
  53. If Silva comes, thats great but if not...I think Henry played a great game on the Left...Keita wasnt that ok though if I wanted to compare him to Yaya. Henry could handle the left

    ReplyDelete
  54. no,i think keita tried in defence, very hard to beat him, only thing is he tried to score but missed all d chances.i think he will develop in this area.yaya and him,i think perfect together,

    love barca 4 life.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Good game. Henry surprised me, he played well... Eto'o too.

But I saw lot's of problems in defence.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Henry played well, but I'd love to see him more in action. He seemed to fade out in the second half... he was actually in good position a bunch of times without receiving ball. No doubt that Iniesta and Xavi know Eto'o best, but they also have to learn to play with Henry. Btw. Eto'o's two goals yesterday were world class :-), so are the two other goals.
