British tabloid The Daily Star claims that Barcelona will make a move in the coming transfer window to bring Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fàbregas (20) back to the club he left in the summer of 2003. Barcelona would be preparing an offer of 25 million euro°.
Although Arsenal has always said that the player will not be sold, Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger would be worried about the close ties a new advisor of the Catalan midfielder would have with Barcelona (read more here). The current contract of Cesc is expiring in 2014, with Arsenal wanting to renew and extend the contract for two more years, lifting the player's salary from 60 000 euro to 100 000 euro* a week.
