Cocktail of the day: Chygrynskiy

The Boadas Cocktail Bar in Barcelona has made a cocktail named "Chygrynskiy", in honour of Barcelona's new signing.

The cocktail consists of two-quarters vodka, one-quarter lemon juice, one-quarter cranberry juice, some ginger ale, a couple of cucumber slices and a cherry.

Barkeeper Jerónimo Vaquero, who invented the cocktail, explains: "I analyzed the person, who is tall and strong. So we needed a powerful combination, and we couldn't leave out the vodka of course. You should drink it slowly, little by little, without hurrying. It's very fresh and digestive, ideal for the late afternoon. It's a big glass and the price is 7 and a half euros."

this is an insult to someone whose nickname is Jesus and has professed his distaste for beverages of an alcoholic nature.

All right, let me give you some perspective here. Boadas is the shit. You can call it a Barcelona staple. It is on the corner of the first street on the right side when you start going down Last Ramblas southwards.

It used to be Hemingway's favorite bar in Barcelona...well, either that or Bar Marsella that specializes only in Absinthe. It is a HUGE deal for a guy that just came to town to get his own cocktail at Boadas. It is a small place but anyone visiting Barcelona should have a drink there.

Cheers!

I agree,Anon...quite stupid to promote drinks under his name,if he doesn't drink...It's the same thing if Titi was in a hair gel commercial :D

Guys, don't misunderstand this and just read what Carrer de Corsega says...

It's a kind of homage. And I really hope that he deserves to have his own caganer -"crapper"- figurine next Xmas... THAT would be a very good sign!

Yeah...I will agree with G* and Carrer de Corsega it's not an insult to Chygrynskiy, it's more like a great tribute from a certainly true cúles ( the bar owner/tender ) which you should respect. As you are a culés yourselves, you should understand the admiring of a new signing.
