Ibrahimovic attracts Swedish socios

Barcelona's official website has announced that more than 150 people residing in Sweden have become a socio of FC Barcelona since Zlatan Ibrahimocvic was presented as new Barcelona player on 27 July.

Barcelona has at this moment 430 socios in Sweden. With the exception of a few Catalans and Spaniards living in the country, almost all of them have the Swedish nationality.

Why do the socio membership has to end on Dec 31st '09, when you have to pay the full fee? I think a full year membership should be warranted rather than having to renew after only 4 months.

Yeah Im fom Sweden, and as soon as I turn 18 next year I'll become Barcelona Socio :)

Sadly, I can't really afford to become a socio. As soon as I finish school and have a job, I plan to become, though.

77euro for a full year but for the current year it ends on Dec 31st. I think I'll join Jan 1st '10 to get a full year membership.

It's great to see Ibra is attracting fans for Barcelona. Now all he has to do is show his magic and score goals for the team so they can win all the 6 titles up for grabs this season.

Good for Barca! I cant wait until Ibra scores his first goal for Barca. Hopefully, he'll start tomorrow against Bilbao!
