Ibrahimovic suggests Barcelona move imminent

Asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Barcelona, Inter Milan forward and Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (27) seemed to suggest to journalists in the United States that a transfer could be imminent:

"There's no news. Not yet. Will I play against Chelsea on Tuesday? I don't know. We will see. I expect a phone call from Barcelona, so who knows..."

Please start Bojan-Ibra-Messi as our front line at Wembley... Get Keirrison as the substitute. Come on Pep, wanted Keirri more than any new signing in the team. Don't play with emotions of the kid. He's gonna be very good

Look at Ibrahimovic towering over the Manchester United big donkey . This is what Barça need in order to destroy the EPL's infamous bus !!

I am not a BIG fan of Ibra, just like i dont really like CR9, but eh, I support whoever pulls on the Barca shirt with pride and delivers.

NouBarca I know, nobody like big egos, but I ask you to give him a chance, believe me, when he is wearing your fav Barca shirt you will like him even with an ego only matched by his nose size, because he is capable of sending you to wonderland with his mesmerizing goals and skills, forget about scoring rates and fit into style and stuff, all that maybe true, but believe me, when he lob the ball above Madrid players and score goals from the middle of the field you will do as he does after scoring goals, but in front of Madrid fans. he will be fun. guaranteed.

Bloody hell, guys... You keep talking about his ego, that it's supposed to be a problem... Any of you old eneough to remember Stoiczkow? Now HE had an ego... and he's Barcelona legend...

Reading some comments on this page I think even if Messi wasn't a Barca player and we bought him now- some people would be complaining because of his height, because ha can't do this or that... I just looked at transfer overwiev from last year and the comments that were made back than. With THAT last year in perspective- they really made me laugh... Do some of you people do ANYTHING else apart from complaining? And do you have ANY faith in the board, coach and the rest of the squad???

Just look at this line up:
Valdes-Maxwell, Alves, Puyol, Pique-Iniesta, Xavi, Toure- Messi, henry, Ibrahimovic.
And find me ONE better in the world. With a perfect balance between defence and attack. With so many creative, attacking players who are also willing to work hard to get the ball back as quickly as possible... And yet half of comments on this page is complaining, complaining, complaining... I'm not saying we should get complacend. Far from it! But that's why we need some changes. And they are making those changes. It will be different on the field with Ibra, it will be different in the dressing room. But Ibracadabra haven't won CL so he'll be REALLY hungry for this kind of glory...

I would understand complaints after few friendlies, if we played really badly... But reading some of the stuff here I wonder if this is Barcelona blog- or did I by mistake joined a Real Madrid one...

@ Anon, I know Ibra would score LOADS of goals and his skills can not be questioned, same goes for CR9, but you just dont like some people for differenst reasons, but like I said, I would SUPPORT him when he pulls on OUR jersey and pull his weight.
+ like to let you know you just made me smile when i tried to picture him score a 40yard screammer againt MADrid

now imagine CR doing that.. uggh.. what was I thinking.. to much stuff is going in my head..

SJP said...

despise CR9 and not a fan of ibra but just want his to end so he can hopefully prove me wrong and play his heart out for the team not just himself, if that happens i'll support him fully. even if he does flop i think our team is still better than madrids, messi was warming up last season, this year he goes 40+ goals.
